Some Notable words from our audience :
"Une Jeunesse," a vibrant, modern play, shines with its exceptional acting and captivating script. Tony Thich, as Dennis, an arrogant drug dealer from the gilded youth, delivers a gripping performance, capturing the essence of a complex and troubled character living in an Upper West Side slum.
Raphael REBOUL, as Dennis' moody companion Warren, is simply breathtaking. His portrayal of Warren, arriving with $15,000 stolen from his father after an argument, is both powerful and nuanced, revealing the inner turmoil of a young man torn between despair and hope.
Lola KLODAWSKI, as Warren's crush Jessica, is the revelation of the play. Her performance, marked by sensitivity and strength, adds a deep emotional dimension to the story. Her ability to navigate the gap between vulnerability and determination makes her character incredibly captivating.
The staging is dynamic and immersive, creating a world where themes of love, friendship and money collide, reflecting the dilemmas of this youth in search of meaning. The sets and lighting design perfectly complement the story, creating an atmosphere that transports the audience to the heart of the action.
Overall, “Une Jeunesse” is a remarkable play, blending drama, emotion and reflection. It asks pertinent questions about the choices young adults make in a complex and often unforgiving world. This production is a must-see for all theatre lovers, offering an experience that is both educational and entertaining.

Escorted through the alleys of a fascinating Montmartre that never sleeps, I was delighted to be enveloped in the cozy atmosphere of the Théâtre Montmartre Galabru. There I discovered Kenneth Lonergan's play of rare modern authenticity, in the excellent acting of three absolutely brilliant actors: Lola Klodawski, Raphaël Reboul and Tony Thich. In a production with contemporary tones, the tempo held us all from beginning to end, between subtle laughter and fine questioning with flavors, I wonder, sometimes, of Wedekind... What struck me most was the intelligence of the acting of each actor who never let this text, which is not at all banal, fall into the banal. Perfectly "contained" in a fair setting, between staging and music, they were not playing solo to put us to sleep, NO! Their translation of the American text did not fail in any way. I find the boldness of these young pros courageous and touching. really to encourage, to see, to support and to thank for this piece never seen in France. What to say? THANK YOU, WELL DONE, KEEP GOING!

What a great idea to finally have this beautiful play by Kenneth Lonergan about the lost youth of NYC in the 80s staged in French! Bravo to the actors, all convincing, special mention to the actress Lola Klodawski, always very accurate. A funny and touching play, which highlights characters of a kind too rarely shown in theater, especially in France. Go and discover it quickly!
